Cellar Society Wine Club: Payment, Delivery & Membership Disclaimer

By enrolling in the Cellar Society Wine Club, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions, in accordance with the Laws of Jamaica governing the sale, distribution, and consumption of alcoholic beverages:

1. Payment Terms

- All wine club orders require full advance payment. Your registered credit card or other approved payment method will be automatically charged prior to each scheduled shipment or collection.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice in response to supplier adjustments, tax changes, or foreign exchange fluctuations.
- Any failed or declined transactions may result in delayed processing, suspension, or cancellation of your order.
- All amounts are payable in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

2. Delivery & Shipping

- Deliveries will be made to the address provided at the time of membership sign-up, unless otherwise updated in writing prior to dispatch.
- It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that all shipping details are accurate and kept up to date. We are not liable for delays, non-delivery, or additional charges due to incorrect or incomplete address information.
- Under Jamaican law, deliveries of alcoholic beverages require the signature of a person 18 years or older at the time of receipt. Valid photo identification may be requested to verify age.
- If no one meeting the age requirement is available to accept delivery, the courier may attempt redelivery or return the package to our facility. Additional delivery charges may apply.

3. Weather & Storage Conditions

- To preserve product quality, shipments may be delayed during extreme heat, storms, or other adverse weather conditions.
- We will notify members of any such delays and arrange delivery at the earliest safe opportunity.
- Once delivered, it is the member’s responsibility to store wine appropriately to maintain its quality.

4. Membership & Cancellation

- Memberships are ongoing and will continue until cancelled by the member in writing, with a minimum of 14 days’ notice before the next scheduled billing date.
- Orders already processed or in transit cannot be refunded or cancelled.

5. Legal Compliance

- By joining the Cellar Society Wine Club, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and legally permitted to purchase and receive alcoholic beverages in Jamaica.
- We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel memberships, or decline delivery if there is reasonable cause to suspect that our products are being purchased for resale without authorization, or for supply to persons under 18.

By continuing your membership, you accept these terms as part of the Cellar Society Wine Club Agreement, and acknowledge compliance with all applicable Jamaican laws and regulations relating to the sale and delivery of alcohol.
